Just got a call from thus number saying there are four counts against me and I if I don’t return the call immediately the police will be taking me to jail.

End of call. This is the exact message left on my cell phone. Caller from New York, NY. June 1, 2018 @ 12:46 PM PDT. My location: Northern California. Besides the oddly worded message and the fact that the call came from New York, our little community does not have a police department, Sheriff yes, but police? No!
