I got the same call that Julie did - "pending your custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 929-268-1078." I called the number back and the lady that answered barely spoke English and said she was with the IRS. I siad "Oh really? What's your address over there at the IRS office" she said Washington DC. The area code is NY New York. Ha! Nice try

They called and left a voicemail saying I would be arrested, so I called back and gave them my number and he asked my name and I refused to give it to him, he could barely speak English and if they know I’m gonna be arrested then they should know my name I shouldn’t have to tell them, I knew it was a scam right away
