This type of phone scam must be one of the newest ways criminals are trying to harass and collect money. Based on false legal action against you for a bad check in a fraud case. This was the main number given over voicemail from two other people/#'s. Jacoby and Ellis Litigation. The other two numbers associated with this and called to leave detailed voicemails were (208) 813-9068 and (801) 238-7300 both claiming to be from a private investigator form or the salt lake City court. I haven't actually talked to anyone yet but I'm very wiery about this situation and my advice would be to use caution and don't give them any information.

Beware of this Number!! Got called from a process server - first red flag- they dont call, called the call back number to Jacoby and Ellis Litigation firm had to leave a vm- Yes they have a Web page- Fake page fake address(UPS office)no other information on their services. Got a call Back from Mr Jacoby he wanted payment for an old debt - told him I had to call him back as I needed to verify the debt- as I thought that it had been paid. It was Paid off. Can these people not find another way to make money instead of preying on people.

Second time I received this scam. The 'processor' also called my family members, who became quite concerned. I told them this was a scam. I also called this number, and yes, they did tell me I was being accused of check fraud to a loan advance company, owing 900 some dollars. I did use this company once,and found that I did owe about 200 dollars. I told them about the calls and they said they were a scam. I settled the debt, and thought this would be the end. Today, I received the same type of call, and immediately told the guy that I had talked to the loan company the last time, settled the debt, and they verified these calls were a scam. I told him if any of my family gets a call, we will all report to the attorney general of Ohio. He became VERY rude, told me I was a scam and hung up

I received a call from these idiots, I happen to know the law so I laugh at them and get the madder then anything when they know they don't scare me. They call me James the jerk-off..lol dumb people.

I received a call stating that I was being served papers from Jacoby and Ellis and if I did not respond by the close of business they will pursue litigation. I called the District Justice number that they have listed and the District Justice Office said that it's a scam and to report them to my local police department they even have a process server who co-signs on their bullshit do not fall for it beware they are scam artists and when I call the local District Justice number that they had given me they were baffled and then I called my county office at the county courthouse and they said we don't have any here

Maybe he is that scammer. Haha!
