something about a formal complaint and that the authorities will be involved if i dont call back

It goes to a voice service asking for a extension number or to press 0 I pressed zero and a old lady answered as I spoke to her she hung up in my face several times. The voicemail stated that they were looking for a family member I don’t even talk to and I wanted it removed but they hung up every time I tried to speak to this person. It’s pure harassment

A robocall from someone name “Michael Carter” who left a voicemail message on my phone and my wife’s regarding a formal complaint which authorities will be involved if I don’t call back therefore it’s a SCAM because there should have already been a letter in the mail if it’s TRUE. Just block the number and keep the recording for evidence (in case).

These people called me at work and my cell. I actually spoke to them when they called my job. They had no information other than I borrowed money from the person that made the complaint. I said cool who did I borrow money from. They went silent. Needless to say I had some not to kind words for them and they hung up. Today I received a call on my cell that if I don't call back the authorities will be called.

I received an automated call from Michael Carter for a Cheryl Tatum. They did threaten to call the authorities. if we don't call them back. I called them back at 833-542-4797. I explained to them that I received a call from Michael Carter. They confirmed the number they previously dialed. Next, I told them that the person of interest doesn't reside nor work here. Finally, I said, in a polite tone, please put me on your do not call list. And she agreed. I haven't received a call since then. It requires patience and persistence to stops these calls from coming in. Please research "DO NOT CALL" list information to know your rights. Plus, research debt collectors to know your rights as well. :) Hope this helps.

I have been receiving calls from Michael Carter for years now, one time I had the police involved and they even tried speaking to them. The officer went and did research with various agencies and came back to my place of employment and told me it was a scam. I explained proper procedure would be that they must leave their name, where they are calling from and what the call is in regards to, this never happened even when I had called them back I asked for the information I was told I was a looser and that they didn't have to provide me with the information, the guy on the phone was nasty, harassing and threatening, and said the authorities would be there to get me in an hour, that needless to say was 4 years ago, I am still waiting!!! The officer said that proper procedures would have been that they contact a magistrates office and file a civil suite, in any regard he said I could not be arrested for such an issue. The officer stated they are open threats just trying to get money form people by threatening them. So its a BIG SCAM

On a loud microphone talking about if I don't call bck someone is coming to my job. The number is from 8335424793 a micheal carter. Have been taking money from me too saying I owe a bill I haven't seen no reciet so I'm not doing it again. I hope they are caught!!!

We have received numerous calls on the business line and cellular phone.
