Who called from the number +1 (866) 996-5857

Some guy named Debaynes said that i missed a court date, and he gave me a case number. I had NO such court date whatsoever ! He asked me if certain numbers were the last 4 digits of my SSN. I told him that i won't give that information over the phone. I could tell that he was trying to bait me so we got into a shouting match and i hung up.

Called from an unknown number, but told to call 866 - 996 - 5857. Man claiming to be Dan Larken called saying that he was reaching out as of this morning regarding a reschedule servicing at an address (don't live at that location specified) between 3 and 5. Said that 2 forms of ID would be required. Stated that if the could not reach me at my residence, they would be stopping at my verified place of employment (haven't worked in over a year).Stated if they had to go to my place of employment my supervisor or HR would be required to sign off as a witness. Said that I could call 866 - 996 - 5857 to reschedule the service with the party handling my claim. Gave me a claim number to reference when I call.

Called with some crap about statement of intent...legal counsel.....blah blah blah and gave my husband's name. It is so sad. If these scammers would just get a life and a REAL JOB and stop trying to intimidate people and trick them into giving them their info so they can steal, they may actually get somewhere in life.
