Who called from the number +1 (866) 215-1499

The message said they were calling from Chase Bank I called Chase and no such call had been placed. I'm not sure what they were up to but they are not legitimate

This is Chase Bank fraud department verifying an unusual transaction I did. They should have Chase Bank on their caller ID, I almost didn't answer.

They had the Chase card 4 digits wrong and used only my middle initial not my first name to tell me they suspected fraudulent activity on my card. I was suspicious but called to see what was up. When the automated system asked me to enter my phone number because they could not help me unless I was on the phone to which they placed the call, I hung up. I was on the phone they called. They were obviously just trying to piece together a bunch of info about me.

Left message from "Fraud Department". Phone number does not match any known number from any financial institution of which I am involved . Scam! Blocked.

received call from this number statring we had fraud. I called my bank directly who confirmed this is not their phone number. CONFIRMED: This is a SCAM.

Came up as ‘scam likely’ and left a voicemail with the last 4 digits of my account #. Concerning... so I called the main line for Chase and confirmed they had a note on my account to verify a check I wrote. Chase is always looking out for you! I do wish they would work to get the number un-labeled as scam so I don’t have panic next time.

This call came through to my work phone and left message. Automated voice started speaking before my greeting was complete. Message: ....king for. This is the Chase Fraud Department calling for (pause) [my name] (pause). We would like to confirm some recent activity on your account ending in (the correct last 4 digits of my account). In order to prevent possible difficulties using your account, it is important that you call us back at your earliest convenience, toll free at 816 215 1499 to verify this activity. You will be asked to provide the following reference number when you call. Please make note of it (gives 6 digit number). Please respond by 5:30 p.m. Eastern time or the item may be returned. The phone number again is (same phone number) and your reference number again is (6 digit number). Thank you." I called Chase separately (not using this number at all) and no such call had been placed.

Said from Chase Fraud Dept and need to confirm my recent activity in my account(provided correct last 4 digits). Called Chase directly at the # posted at their web site and said it's not their number. Likely Chase or 3rd party company's database got hacked and account info stolen...

This number called me and was rude because I started questioning them about them being scammers or not. The actual Chase Fraud Department said they are in no way affiliated with this number!

They said they were with Chase fraud dept and had my correct name. Houwever when I called back they want me to provide them my number. Too suspicious so I just hung up.
