They can find your name, address, and phone number on sites like People Finder or White Pages.com for a nominal fee. Look yourself up online and you can find all kinds of info, including past addresses and family members' names. They can even find out who lives next door on certain sites.

I called it back and was told my ssn was suspended for having more than one address, or drug activity, or some such b.s. He was reading a script. He even tried to claim he was caling from social security and gave me a Maryland address, even though the telephone number is from CT. You must have tried to call back when the call center was closed. That happened the first time I tried to call it back.
