Saying I've cashed 8 checks and I don't even have a checking account, very sarcastic smartasses on the phone saying there a.law firm,

Call me saying I was summons by Illinois dispatch of cook county! Then say I would be sue if I don’t contract the law firm!

States that this is a law firm and was calling for a Sandy Lucero but that's not my name or in anyway close to it either.

Saying I have to update my info for a court summons. Their voicemail was threatening persecution if the phone call wasn't returned. I called back no one answered.

Got a call stating that I owed a payday advance money and needed to settle with them to avoid a court summons. Emailed me a letter showing no information about when the transaction took place just an amount owed. Googled address of supposed law firm on letter head and the building is for rent. When told they could serve me "lawyer" got really nasty and insistent that I would pay! Don't fall for it!

Left a message with a family member stating I need to be served papers. SCAM

Claim to be a PROCESS SERVER MONTGOMERY COUNTY ,said he is trying to serve me papers. Failure to contact him was like failure to appear. HIS alleged name was TONY WINTERS. THE PHONE NUMBER HE CALLED FROM 855-674-8485 ,gave some fake Number to try and make it sound like the DA.89584. THE ADDRESS WAS ONE I HAVEN'T. LIVED AT FOR TWO YEARS. CALLED A RELATIVE. MY ATTORNEY SAID HAVE THEM SERVE ME AT THE MCDONALDS OR THE POLICE STATION. IF THEY ARE LEGIT YOU KNOW THE REST. I HAVE HAD THESE IDIOTS SAY THEY SERVING OVER THE PHONE TWO YEARS AGO. SCAMS! I AM A PARALEGAL WITH ATTORNEY ACCESS. THESE JOKERS ARE FISHING TO USE INFO TO MANIPULATE AND SCAM YOU FURTHER. Called relatives trying to find me and then called me leaving very generic message saying trying to serve me legal docs. I stupidly called "Dawson's Law Group" and they tried to bring up a pay day advance loan from 10+ yrs ago with my maiden name saying "check fraud" and I could go to jail and needed to pay a settlement today! Then emailed me some bogus "letter" they claimed they mailed 2 months ago with no valid info other then an amount and a bogus address in LA Ca...I did some research and no Dawson's groups in LA and the address is a huge building with no record of them... SCAM AND DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING!!

The same exact thing happened to me today. A robot girl voice game me a number to call and I did the same as you. Same thing brought up a 10 yr old loan supposedly unpaid. If a checking account were to bounce you pay what was owed then the overdraft fee. Then you are done. You never have to then pay again to the company. This is a scam agreed. No one ever came to my door and gave me addresses were i never lived

I am getting the exact same phone calls to relatives all over the United States threaten you to send someone to your house. They are high paid lawyers and they don't have time to speak to people like you but if you had class you wouldn't be hanging up on people like a child. I told them I'm disable and just got out the hospital did it matter to them hell no. Very nasty couldn't answer a simple question. According to the attorney general office all over the United States if a /bill/loan is over 10 years old the company writes it off. This so call Dawson Law Firm is a pot of crock and thirsty ass so call lawyers Better Business Bureau or someone else need to investigate these no home training assholes.
