Do not let them tell you that you have been hacked, they are a scam and just want your money

Called apple and some guy by the name of “Nick” answered and told me if I buy 200 dollars worth of iTunes cards and let him know what the numbers were. So when the new phone was delivered the delivery man would verify that the numbers match to the system, then he would give me the new phone and take my old one and refund the 200 dollars to any card of my choice. Sounded convincing at first, but I soon got very suspicious.

As said by someone else. They will act as an Apple customer service rep and tell you that your phone has been red flagged due to suspicious activity. Do not give them any information or do anything they request. It’s a scam

These are guaranteed scammers pretending to be Apple Support. Apple would ask you to buy iTunes card to pay as deposit. This scumbags needs to be behind the bars,
