Got a call claims to owe dept and officer Michelle.This message is intended to contact you in regards to a legal case file against your name this is Officer Michelle _⁠_⁠_ from the internal revenue service this call is officially a final notice from the IRS the _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ purpose of this call is to inform you that we have received legal petition notice concerning a tax fraud against you so before this matter goes to the Federal claims court house or before you get arrested please call immediately on our department number 850-361-2986 make sure you call us as soon as possible…”

A friend if mine just got a call from this number claiming to be a final notice from the IRS. A scam, the IRS does not make phone calls.

Recieved a call yesterday from this number they left a message from an operator totally freaked called back and they told me i was going to get arrested if i didnt pay 14,000 ! I was totally freaking out ... i didnt know scammers like this existed like that how can someone be so cruel ! Anyway i totally believed it i was freaking out and hung up after that i started recieving calls from other numbers with caller i.d from my city and it was a lady saying that i was a irs runaway and the police are on there way i totally was freaking out i hung up started getting all my paper work and while i was doing that i started recieving phone calls that had the caller i.d of 911 i was totally freaking out ! My sister showed up to my house to calm me down i was a total freak ball ! Pleaase dont believe these people i didnt know anything about scammers until i was scammed and almost believed it ! Irs wont call and threaten to arrest you they are proffesional people that will reach out to you by mail not by phone call !
