States IRS has had no response in previous 6 months and will be filing a lawsuit for fraud

Same as everyone else. Claims they are filing a law suit. You know it’s a scam when you’ve never did anything wrong. They are persistent, calling back every few months with a different number. So annoying.

Repeatedly called telling me I was under fraud investigation from the IRS...this is a scam.

Yeah... As someone who's been audited, the IRS starts with letters - not a call to my cell phone.

Maybe we should keep calling them and tying up their line so they can't defraud others.

Exactly what everyone says!! I'm a CPA who deals with the taxing authorities. They will never call you first!!!!

Not sure who is calling because the first part of the recording is missing on my voice mail, but they left 2 messages that they have tried to notify me for the past 6 months and are considering it fraud and a lawsuit has been filed by the federal government. Ask that I call back.

Definitely a scam. Didn't answer but they left a voicemail. It played on probably the crappiest automated voice in existence. Didn't have any of my personal info, instead used phrases like 'your name' and 'your tax ID number'. Claimed IRS fraud (IRS always starts with letters, not phone calls) and that I was being sued by the US government and would be arrested (btw you're probably never going to be informed by the authorities that they're looking for you so they can arrest you). I guarantee if the call was answered, they'd tell me all this but it could all go away if I just wired some money over. Checks all boxes as a scam. Don't answer, and definitely don't get them any money.
