Who called from the number +1 (844) 331-6406

I called the number back and it's legit RBC. They didn't ask anything personal that could be dangerous, it was checking in about COVID hardships and if we needed hardship tools. Just a courtesy call, so while it sounded suspicious on the voicemail, it was RBC and nothing fishy asked. They had access to all of our account info etc without me giving them any info.

Received a call from this number. It sounded like his name was Terrik. Said he wanted to speak with my husband regarding personal business and to call him back at that number. I've been getting spam callers so I'm not falling for this one either. I'm waiting on our RBC (local) bank to call me back to see if they've heard of this number before. Don't call them back unless you're sure it's legit everyone.

Left a voicemail the first time they called and it sounded odd. The second time they called I was able to answer and I confirmed it was in fact RBC. We had a nice discussion on scam calls and better ways to leave voicemails.

1-844-331-6406 - got a call on Jan 15th, voice mail message left said it was Richard from the RBC Royal Bank Covid Relief Response Team and asked me to call back to the same number. Received another call on January 19th from the same number, this time from Simon from the RBC Client Review Department, they noted I had deferred a mortgage payment in December and were checking in to see if I needed any assistance regarding payments or something like that. I called RBC's client service # to inquire if this was legit. The customer service agent hadn't heard of this before but looked into it and it turns out it is legit.

(844) 331-6406. I answered but no one was on the line. When I called the number back it is RBC. They most likely called to say that my payment arrangement ended and when to expect a payment from me. This is a legit number.

Left message to call RBC they called twice in an hour. Did not respond

LEFT A MESSAGE ASKING TO CALL MATTHEW AT THIS NUMBER. DID NOT SOUND QUITE RIGHT. I GOOGLED AND FOUND THIS INFORMATION.

Left voicemail asking me to call them back, stating it was RBC. Called back, didn't sound like normal RBC call. Ended the call.

Someone with thick Indian accent left a voice mail introducingf himself as Wally from RBC and to call him back at the number. When you call the number you can tell its fake recording.

Claimed to be RBC and asked for call back regarding the Mortgage aid (pay interest only) related to COVID-19. Made an appointment online with a representive from local branch and being told that there is no such a program for now, after comfiring with the RBC head office. So I guess this is a scam.

Number 844-331-6406 called left msg saying RBC, called back, man answered identifying as RBC, sounded weird, hung up, called RBC from their website to confirm, customer service confirms it is NOT RBC

They called and left a message. I called the regular RBC number and confirmed (after a bit of digging) that it is legitimate. I received an email earlier this week advising of the end of the skipped payment period on our mortgage and this number is also listed there as the contact number "if we have any questions". The main RBC number confirmed they were calling me today for a Covid check-in (i,e, to see if we need any help from the bank due to Covid issues). Haven't called them back, but confident it is a legitimate call and number.

This number has been calling me nearly daily for weeks, very early in the morning (pre-business hours, this morning before 8). Answered this time and told them I Googled this number and it said it was a phishing scam, caller (who had claimed to be from RBC) got flustered and hung up very quickly. Can't find this number listed in association with RBC. Has anyone actually had confirmation from RBC that this is real?

somone called my husband from this number, asked how things are going with his card and asked when he is able to pay the current charges on it. was pushy and annoying when my husband was trying to get off the call because he was busy at work.

2 calls that BYPASSED ringing or showing up as a missed call at all, messages left that they’re calling from RBC something unintelligible department and to call back immediately. I already check this number with RBC, they confirm it’s not them, so I blocked it, but now they’re just leaving messages and bypassing ringing the phone. So that’s just peachy.
