Who called from the number +1 (844) 307-3857

My husband received a voice mail from this same "company" for me to call and give a reference number. I did call (from my computer) and the woman who answered (who also sounded just like the person who left the message) said that they were the legal department of something called Infinity and they wouldn't be calling unless there was a missed appointment. When I asked why I was being called, the woman was highly evasive, claiming that she was not allowed to tell me anything unless I verified my DOB and SS number. When I gave her my DOB (not my SS) she insisted that since I was unwilling to verify my identity she wouldn't be able to give me any info. When I relented and stated only my last four, she said it wasn't the one they had on file and it would be noted. I then tried to communicate further about this, to get assurance that this was a case of perhaps mistaken identity and they would not call my husband again. However, she talked a mile a minute, not answering me again and proceeded to hang up on me. I'm guessing it was some sort of identity theft phishing call, but I will pass it on to my local sheriff's department and suggest to others to do the same.
