They claimed to be from Con Edison, i confirmed with them 3x and asked if they are calling FROM Con Edison and they said yes to me 3 of those times, which is something you’re not supposed to do if you don’t really work for them. And then they proceeded to tell me that my electricity will be cut in 45 minutes and to call this number and that it was the number of the billing department. I wrote the number down and looked up the billing department number for Con Edison and it was NOT THIS NUMBER! Beware of scammers, they will say anything now to get your money.
