Unknowns posing as certified Microsoft technicians answer 1-833-800-5333 that was used in an illegal trespass/hack into another's computer and browser. We allege to be in Virginia and Houston Texas but will never provide a street address. We want access, REMOTE ACCESS, to your laptop to do who knows what but the alert we send to you implies Identity Theft. BE WISE: We represent that the ONLY WAY we can help you is for you to give us access to your computer. Smells like 5-day sour fish to me.

This number is more likely than not a scam (1-833-800-5333). An unknown locks your computer browser and flashes an alarm to call the number 1-833-800-5333 where a person will refuse to provide a complete street address but will represent to be a certified Microsoft technician acting on behalf of Microsoft. The unknown representative will try to gain Remote Access to your computer, this time via your consent. My opinion is DO NOT ALLOW any unknown to access your computer. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CONSENT. I reported the number to Microsoft via its online form.

Locks up your computer and holds it for ransom. Fortunately I caught on and called them on it.
