Who called from the number +1 (833) 354-7494

These people claim to have all sorts of information about me (None valid or accurate) and then proceed to tell me that I owe them thousands of dollars in the state of Florida. I went along for a couple of minutes to see what I could find out and here it is. RAMLOC is that name that they use, and they claim to be a debt collector with no valid address, email, or supervisor. They can only take credit cards over the phone, and can not verify any information about who the debt was obtained through. When I stated I have a lawyer who can answer all my questions, I was hung up on. Hang up or waste your time. Dont give them any information, it will not end well if you do.

I just received a call from them and they said almost the same thing and saying I need to pay them money but they won't mail or email any information verifying their information but they will email a receipt when I give them my card information over the phone and pay...sounds like a huge scam

Called relative's I don't talk to nor have their number until they just called me about someone looking for me and threatening legal action against me..... Scam scam scam top it off I just finished bankruptcy and everything was cleared.can we say SCAM

A relative called me to report they got a call from that number looking for me. They used a maiden name. Shortly after another relative got a similar call same phone number but a different prefix! 1-833-354-7494 and 1-800-354-7494! Sounds like a big Scam!

They keep saying they’re a “location service” trying to locate me for legal purposes. They call my family and say the same. After getting quite rude with what sounded like a high school boy (don’t care, stop scamming me) he said he’d take me off the call list. The sketchiest of the sketchiest. Calls continued again a month later.

Just started getting calls from this number too. Since everyone is just reporting this number now, I would say some scammer just bought a large data cache and is looking to cash in on it. Going to try to get a copy of the fax machine sound, then answer the number with that and see if it auto deletes my number. I'll report back if that works. Just occurred to me that there may be an app for that. I'll update later.

Said someone had filed a formal complaint against me, caller said his name was Michael Carter. I have since blocked this number. Won't say what company or what the complaint.

Harassing calls trying to scam people!!!

They use the name Daniel, that there gas been a complain againt Daniel. I blocked this call. Its a scam

Guy who says his name is Michael Carter calls and says he's calling regarding a formal complaint that's been filed against a Daniel (last name withheld to protect the potentially innocent). I have no idea who that person is, and I've had this same number over 20 years. Wanting to know the whereabouts of this Daniel person and to contact their office immediately as the next steps will be notifying the proper authorities. LOL *snort* mmhmmm........ scammers.

Voice mail... It's a guy who says he's calling regarding a formal complaint that's been filed against *** (gives first and last name of someone I knew 23 years ago in another city). He is wanting to know the whereabouts of this person and to contact their office immediately as the next steps will be notifying the proper authorities. The entire voicemail message is pre-recorded. One voice for the message and another voice filling in the name of the individual. Guess they think that will make it sound more "official"

Claim I owe them money and they are calling the proper authorities. Scam artists trying to get information they don't need to know to do bad things with. Wish we could put an end to this kind of crap once and for all.

Said they had a formal complaint. Not comment on who the complaint is with. I work in customer service, people are always complaining because they don’t get what they want.

A call from a Michael Carter stating they received a formal complaint against Brad (last name withheld by me to people who may have this name), and their next step was to go to the authorities. Does not provide specifics.

This is a crappy thing to do to anyone. I am 63 and don't appreciate this type of call. What is wrong with these people!

Message left in answering machine: recorded call from Michael Carter about an intelligible name spoken by another voice with a complaint against it. He was requesting a call back at this number or they would notify the appropriate authorities. Knock your self out buddy!

He was requesting a call back at this number or the next step would be to notify the appropriate authorities. This is not the first time this message has been left, and there is no Kevin at our residence.

Got same call today about a formal complaint against myself and if I don't call back they will notify the appropriate authorities. Is this a scam?
