Who called from the number +1 (817) 601-8377

Update! "sargent" kennedy called back saying he was from warrant dept and I told him that I called the Sherrif's Dept. He said that is the snitch callin in on the snitch and changed his tune. Said they didn't have a warrant out for me but were just collecting donations for the Sherrif's dept. lol. That was fun. Remember, if you get this call and have doubts call the fine folks at Tarrant County at 817-884-3099. a very sweet lady at the jail may answer and xfer you to Dispatch where you will speak with another very sweet lady.

I didn't answer so the call went to VM. The Guy asked for me by name and identified himself as Sargent Kennedy from the Tarrant County Sheriff's office and asked that I call him at this same number. I called back and got an unidentified VM message. I then called the Tarrant County Sheriff's office at 817-884-3099 and spoke with the dispatcher. I gave her the number and name of the caller and she said they don't use that Tel# and she doesn't show a Sargent Kennedy as a Tarrant County Sherrif employee. I may update if they call back. BEWARE!

I got the same call 09-25-19 from the same number from the same "Sargent Kennedy" at 6:00 PM. He said I should have received a letter for jury duty and because I didn't show up I need to be presented to the judge, then started to add things to it... "you'll be presented and put in jail for 30 days"... then he said I had three options a) To show up at the the Tarrant Court house immediately (it was 6 PM so WTF) b) Being taken into custody shortly (he said an officer was on its way) c) Place a $4,000 bond on the phone (ha! hahaha!) When I said "OK, what's your name? Is this your personal number? How long do I have to decide which option?" he started to be impatient, he said I had to show up at the Court within the next 3 minutes (ha!) and that the office was 8 minutes from my house to get me into custody, so my only option was to place a bond... Long story short I said... "OK, I guess I'll see the office at home when I get there because I'm not even at home right now"... he said OK and hang up. Of course nobody showed up at my house, but the guy on the phone had my name, number, and my address so he might work for a public office or had access to personal records.
