A young lady contacted me about a room for rent she wants off of a craigslist posting I had up. She then she's going to send me a check for the rent and that she'll have her car delivered to our home. She then mentions that when we receive the check we must pay the people whose delivering her car from that money. She never mentioned how much she was sending in total. I asked her to call me, she then tells me she'll have her father call me. So her supposed father called me from this number thanking me for allowing his daughter to stay with me. She said she was German. I asked him if he was German he said yes. He had an African accent. I then asked him to send me a copy of his daughter's passport and a photo ID. Since that I heard crickets. It's so pathetic how people can't get real jobs and there ridiculous things to get honest people's money.
