lol if the IRS was going to arrest me/you/anyone , they would first need to give you a warning in writing and made sure that I/YOU/ANYONE had received it personally. Otherwise, everyone would get arrested and would have no idea why. Please be aware that all scammers always try to make it feel extremely urgent, when in reality the IRS would bombard you with documentation if you really did owe them money. So if it is your first time hearing about it, then it is 99.9999% that you are getting scammed... the .0001% are for those that have someone evil in there life that decided for some reason to find all important documents and hide them without getting caught... the chances are slim, but I don't doubt that it has probably already happened.

THEY JUST CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT I HAVE A WARRANT FROM THE IRS. THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD ATTEMPTED TO SEND ME 2 LETTERS TO THE ADDRESS I LIVE AT BUT THEY DIDNT KNOW I JUST MOVED IN. WHEN I ASKED FOR MY CASE FILE NUMBER, AND TOLD THEM I WOULD CALL THE IRS FROM AT A NUMBER ON AN IRS WEBSITE THE PHINE WENT DEAD..........

I haven't not answered this call and that number has rang 5 times today leaving an automated message of the callback 800 number. Are they hoping to wear me down so I will answer.
Called me claiming to be IRS and said a warrant was issued to arrest me.
Same as above. They left a message to call back and I called. I talked two guys. It was so noisy and one of them had heavy accent. It was hard to understand what he was saying but basically, he was saying i have to pay about $3000 outstanding balance immediately. They had my full name and my old address.
Threatened to kill me and my family
Called me several times and said that my previous tax returns had some serious miscalculations and that I had a warrant for my arrest. I asked for their address and they gave me an address that was not the IRS. After I told him that this wasn't the IRS he said that the local authorities would be here to arrest me in 30 minutes and hung up.
