Computer scam, they claimed to be from Microsoft, scammer!

Computer scam, they claimed to be from Microsoft.

Said they were Microsoft Technical Department and that my computer was wrought with viruses. Long story short, I fell for it. Ended p with unauthorized charges to my credit card and had to cancel my card. Please, be smarter than I was. Don't answer or hang up on them.

Peter Smith from "Microsoft". said his work ID is MS0789 and his phone number is 800-513-8281. my caller id said the call was coming from 360-525.3220- Bramerton, WA. just put the phone down till he hung up and then blocked the number

Alex from Microsoft said my computer was full of viruses. I begged him for help, but when I told him they won't let me have a keyboard he got mad at me for "joking him". Kept him on for about 15 minutes before he finally hung up on me. Having a bad day? I completely recommend taking it out on these jerks!! I feel great!!!

'this is microsoft, we have gotten a report that your computer has been infected with viruses', please follow the following steps, hold windows button and R to open the Run window. amazing if you ask what you will be running or any techinical questions they hang up on you quick! And if you call them back and say you got hung up on, they tell you to stop calling THEM!!

Called them back as I said I would but told them that I had alerted the AG's office as well as the FBI. If they were legit, then they would be fine. Otherwise, they should watch out. Surprise - they hung up on me!

Claims to be from Microsoft- supposedly my PC has errors that need repair or my PC will not work anymore

Very heavy India accented male called himself Jack Williams, representing "Windows technology Dept, from Microsoft", who had reports of errors in my computer and asked me to log onto my computer. (I did not) I told him I have had no problems with my computer and did not call anyone. He said well they have and to please just log on ... it will only take 5 minutes. I told him he is a scam and to F**k off. He said well F**k you too mother F**ker and hung up !!

"Calling from Microsoft....". Told me I have a computer issue and needs to help me fix it. Time to f~ck with them. Indian Fella: "You in front of your computer". Me: "yes" (but really just in front of my microwave). Indian Fella: "click on the start button". Me: "ok, but shouldn't I set the time on it first?" Indian Fella: "no the time has nothing to do with what we have to do". Me "ok, I'm clicking but nothing is happening". Indian Fella: "what do you see on the screen" me: "nothing, it's completely black and the light isn't on. Should I open the door?" Indian Fella " do you need to open the door to see the start button?" Me: "no I can see the start button just fine" Indian Fella " well if the screen is all black, how can you see the start button?" Me: "well the screen is black and the start button is down in the corner and can see it just fine". Indian Fella "What happens on the screen when you click on the start button?" This went on for 35 minutes lol

2nd time they've called me and you'd think they'd keep a list of the people that f%ck with them, like me! I decided to be an old lady with this caller. When he said Microsoft virus I started talking about how I once caught the flu virus and how awful it was...he kept trying to keep me on track to make sure I was in front of my computer....and that I'd find the key he wanted me to press - that's when I started having a lot of fun...First I couldn't find the key he was asking me to locate, I just started rambling off all the keys on the board, you know, "well here's the a, then I see the s, I think that's an s, might be c...you get the idea..hee hee! ....then I found it but it was actually the wrong key, every time he tried to talk I'd say something about my aches and pains and what medication the doctor put me on....well what do you know??? He hung up on me, imagine that! If you're having a stressful day, take it out on a scammer!

I like effing with them too. Once those IRS scammers called and I told them whatever money they were looking to get from me was going with me to Las Vegas. You never heard so much swearing in your life. LOL!!

I keep getting calls from this number no message left, scam stop calling me

this number called me at 6am! Left no message

They called me, claiming to be from Microsoft, and wanted to remove "all of the viruses that are on my computer". He insisted that I press the Windows button along with "7", and tell him what I see. I told him that I'm not going to do it and will be in touch with my service company. He then said they will continue to call and pester me about this, when I told him I have no computer viruses and he is full of shit, he is not from Microsoft. I've had a computer for 25 yrs and have never once been phoned by Microsoft, and hung up on him.

These morons called yesterday claiming to be from Microsoft and my PC is wraught with viruses. Told them that they called yesterday and everything is fine now. Again hung up on them. Will they call again??? I'm sure they will, and I'll put them on an eternal hold.
