The person, who you can hardly understand, claims to be from the Social Security Administration telling you there has been fraudulent activity connected to your SSN. They ask you to stay on the line or, if you missed the call, to call back a bogus (209) area code number. I just heard about this on my local news this morning and stayed on the line to talk to them. When they answered I told them I knew this was a bullshit bogus call and if they called again I would report them, which they promptly hung up on me.

They said they were from the social security administration regarding fraudulent activity on my account. I was told to hold on the line or call them back at 714-613-6863. They came on the line, I asked for their ID number and they hung up.
