Said she was with Cardiac Care located in Florida. From search, number is California landline. Said she was calling to discuss husbandâs âannual cardiac physicalâ. Responded we have our own doctors. Said she just needed a bit more information then. Why? Said that Medicare gives them a list of insured to call. I asked, a maybe doctors office supposedly in Florida calling to make appointments with people in the Midwest? Replied that Medicare contracts with them to contact insured to make sure theyâre getting full use of benefits. Told her I hate people like her that lie and take advantage of people that donât know better. She repeated the Medicare contract line. Told her she was full of s#*t and a liar. She said, she didnât have to take this abuse and hung up on me.
