The called saying they are from Microsoft and that I needed a firewall and had lots of viruses. They took over my computer put a batch file on my desktop that deleted the event logs, an html file with contact info for payment, and created shortcuts to the firewall I already had and Microsoft Security Essentials. They then demanded $200 even though I didn't ask them to do any of what they did, I didn't even want them on my computer! I told them I didn't have a credit card, then they asked for a check, they kept asking and I kept saying 'No'. Fraud and scammers.
