They called threatening to have me arrested for tax fraud. Really?! Don’t people have better things to do with their time.

Complete scam and they don't even seem to try to hide it. It's so obviously fake. The IRS won't call and leave you a rambled, unintelligible message and they most certainly would never give you a phone number to call back that goes directly to a human without waiting on hold for at least an hour. They will also send you a million letters regarding your owed debt before anything. I mean seriously with this. They could at least try to be less obvious.
