Fake IRS cops are coming for you call

received a call from this no. 1-716-371-9806. Robo call and the message left is "Have just received a notification regarding your tax fillings from the headquarters which will get expired 24 working hours and once again expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The nerve of some people to scam people out of money. Talked to the local police and they said you have to be issued a warrant on paper before they can arrest you. Its a scam! Dont call this number.

Fake IRS

Call received saying they are the IRS. Fake, fake, fake. Threats of jail, confiscation of property, police coming to arrest any second. HOW is this number listed for Time Warner and being used in this method??

IRS scam call. Second call I have recieved today. First call was from different number, same message. DO NOT CALL IT BACK!! IRS will NOT call you. They will contact you via the USPS first!

Second call today. 716-371-9806. Had call earlier from another number

received same robo message from this number and a different one earlier in the day saying "that you will be taken under custody by the local police as there are serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach you is ....716-371-9806. I repeat...." Nice scare tactics, but as you can see from the other comments, this is a bunch of scammers.

My carrier reported the number as a possible scam so I didn't even answer. Left a voicemail about my tax filings and the police would be contacted if I didn't respond in "24 business hours." (Not sure what 24 business hours even means lol) Reported to IRS.

I answered and it was a robot threatening to have the police come. So I called back and he harassed me to give me more info and he stated he was the IRS. I said I expect a letter in the mail first if it’s the IRS. He was angry. He yelled at me and said You will receive another phone call in 5 hours. Sure enough they called and left another voicemail stating they were the IRS and that I had 4 serious allegations against me and the police will be contacted then jail. I’m just going to block the number. DONT give them any personal information!
