Pretending to be from IRS with a warrant to arrest me within 24 hours if I did not call back to that same number.

IRS HQ has very serious charges against me. I translated into proper English, because whoever recorded this "threat" could not speak the language well at all. What a crock. Hopefully no one falls for this.

I called the number back just for kicks and because I was angry! These people really do prey on those who are gullible or lemming. A Woman answered speaking English with a heavy accent, Hello IRS, I told her in less than 24 hrs your going to be arrested for phone fraud and being A$$holes! There was silence and I hung up. I feel a little better, but is there Agency I can turn this number over to who could maybe shut it down?

Report any information like this to the Federal Trade Commission. Try to get as much info about who is calling. They will investigate and get back with you about the progress.

Scam call claiming IRS has charges against me and I will be picked up by local law enforcement. Computerized-sounding voice spoke horrible English.
