Who called from the number +1 (706) 920-3740

This number, 706-920-3740, with Caller ID showing "V80812144800220", has been calling for several weeks. They never leave a message, so it can't be very important - so why even call?!? If they don't want to show their identity on the Caller ID, they don't want us to know who they are - so why would we want to talk to them at all?! From the first comment posted here by Sherrie, it sounds like a scam, trying to get your money. In this day and age, legitimate organizations know it is now pointless to make a cold call to people they do not know, trying to get money for their cause. That's because criminal spamming scammers, many times using what sounds like a legitimate organization's name, or something that sounds very similar, are tricking good decent people out of their hard-earned money by doing just that - cold calls or robocalls to people they don't know - but some of them have lists with your names and phone numbers on them, and when the caller asks for you, or a family member, you think you know each other, but you don't, so don't fall for their scam game. They want your personal information and/or credit card info - DON'T give this criminal your personal info. They will steal your funds from you before you know it! We solved that by selecting which organizations we donate to, and the manner in which we donate. Beware of this number! Be careful and be safe if you see this number on your phone!
