Woman claiming an arrest warrant was issued in my name for 3 counts of fraud against the US government & IRS. I spoke with two “agents” who gave very vague details about the allegations. The second was set on getting me to pay $8,989 or settle the matter in court. He would not provide me any more details until the arrest warrant had been dealt with. He used circular reasoning and I eventually hung up. Did a # search and found these other comments confirming my suspicion. Why do people do this?!
