Called and said that I had a felony fraud charge pending regarding a payday loan but I could take care of it today by paying it plus fees. I explained that I have never had a payday loan. They had my SSN and past address. I said that I would check into it. They said that since I would not pay that I have a bond of $5000 that I would have to pay to stay out of jail. I told them to go ahead and send the police. I called back and asked the name of the company. The lady that answered put me on hold to find out. She came back and said they were legal mediation. I asked if that was the actual name of the company and she said it was but when I look it up there is no company with that name in GA.
