Advertised an item on Craigslist in my area (Vancouver BC) and this person responded via text. Asked some questions regarding item which were provided and offered to send number to original owner for contact. Response was to ask for my paypal account to transfer money for the item. Asked the texter to respond through craigslist with his/her name, address and paypal account to verify legitimacy. no response. There is a scam going on where people will text you a phony paypal verification when the item is sent.
