I had back surgery on herniated discs yesterday... the same herniated discs that have been hurting me since high school without anyone taking me seriously because what do kids know about back pain. Anyway, i got part of a very nasty message stating "Will be taken under custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us." Worried a debt collector was being threatening over medical bills again, I called back and was promptly greeted with the words "Internal Revenue Service!" I know for a fact that the IRS has no beef with me since our home just got a check from them a couple weeks ago, so yeah. Ignore the threat- IRS prefers documentation as it leaves a paper trail if they have a quarrel with you.
