Upon answering the recording states there are IRS allegations with an expiration date of today and if I do not return the call the local police will arrest me.

they called threatening arrest for some sort of tax problem. it's a total scam because the IRS will NEVER call you.

I am so sick of getting these calls. They call four to five times per day. Threatening arrest for tax issues. same old script every time. I know the IRS won't call and warn you that the police are coming to arrest me if i don't pay up. I don't owe any taxes - thankfully. Apparently the scammers are too stupid to know that most people are smarter than that. Unfortunately, some older people could fall victim to this scam. I feel for them. It needs to be stopped. So tired of ALL robocalls. I'm on the "do not call" list and still get them. signed, Frustrated
