They keep calling stating I have four serious tax filing issues from the headquarters and if I don’t call them back I will be taken into custody by local police.

Automated call saying that I have 4 serious IRS charges against me and that I will be arrested if I don't respond within 24 hours.

Just like these other reports, it was an automated call with a computerized voice saying it was the IRS calling because there were 4 serious charges against me regarding my tax filings and that I would be arrested if I didn't call back within 24 hours. One, the IRS doesn't do phone calls. Two, if there were charges, they wouldn't warn you, the police would just show up and arrest you. Three, joke's on them, I didn't file, I was claimed as a dependent.

BEWARE ALL! Female computerized voice trying to scare you into releasing personal information by leaving a specific message. The IRS does not call, they send letters first. If the IRS were coming for you, they would simply show up. The IRS is a super-creditor; they can reach into your bank accounts, garnish your paycheck and put levies on your home. You would know if they were bringing a case to you--especially as an honest person. I am outraged as to why people expend energy to deceive others.
