A computerized voice claiming to be from the IRS investigation team stated that I had 4 serious allegations about my tax filings and that if I didn't call them back in 24 hrs I would be arrested by the local cops. The use of an old school computerized voice, so many grammatical errors, and the use of the word cops blatantly flags this as a scam. Do not call this number. It is a scam. If the IRS really had an issue with you this is not how they would tell you. They would not be giving you 24 hours to call some cell phone number.
