Called to say they will issue a warrant for my arrest. Never had issues with the law.

I am not in the 604 area code so this may not be a standard spoofing thing. I did have a bit of fun with the person on the other end (who barely spoke English) by giving him a celebrity chef name (I made a lot of food references as we spoke) and the address of a Police station in a different city as the address. Fortunately, that still matched the "file" he had. It continued to match even as I changed my name a few times in the chat which was very adaptable on their part. I never got to how they try to get the CRA payment to their call center based in India (credit card, itunes giftcards whatever), since eventually the other person got tired of making no progress and realized his time is better spent on fresh potential victims.
