I've been called by random numbers like this for the past 14 years. They're looking for a Jeremy/April LaMantia, supposedly from the IRS, looking to resolve a "Miscalculation error" in their tax records from 2013 to 2017. A recorded message states that I'll be apprehended by local police if I do not return the call.

Left a voicemail saying that I have four tax fraud against my name and that I have 24 hours to respond or the local authorities will come and pick me up

Called me to say i would have charges brought up against me by the IRS, then it was a mix up, and i would have to Washington DC with a lawyer to settle it in the Federal Court. Shady AF! It is in Rochester, NY, and its called Ymax Communications Corp., which was created by the man who invented MagicJack. They guy I talked to was hard to understand, definitely over seas as even the boss, who should have been able to pronounce his words even if English was a second language. The first guy would not slow down or be of any real help so I could never understand him. If you get this number on your phone, ignore.

Same as above. I'm going to be arrested if I don't call them back. Have had about 6 of these calls in the past two weeks. They actually leave a 40 second pre-recorded message. Always 40 seconds. Just erase it. Spam, scam, call it whatever. They are parasites.

Threatened me with four actions involving criminal behavior and should I not respond I would face serious legal action agsinst me, immedistely. This is the fith call in less than six months from different phone numbers. Cannot real law enforcement investigation and legal action not be undertaken to stop this biolation of indecent behavior to thresten someone one dordnt even know. Where is legal law enforcement . This is harsssment across stste lines. Isnt this a federal crome? Perhaps Attorney general Jeff Sessions could take care of this since his time does not involve matters involving Mueller and Russia!

Caller left message, female voice said four warrants had been issued for my arrest, and I was to call 585-633-1446 as soon as possible. At this point, I pressed the Delete button, as it was obviously a scam. I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to fall for a scam like this.
