Robo-call with recorded message telling me they are a debt collector for the IRS, they had tried to contact me several times previously, and because of my non-response they are filing a government lawsuit for "intentional fraud". Also said they were investigating me and my family. They said to call their number immediately. I did not call and I'm not in jail yet.

Asked me to verify my phone number and address and wanted me to call them back before a case was sent in under my name for “intentional fraud.” After I was asking the lady what the call was about and asked her why she needed my address she hung up on me.

Just received voice message saying that I had not contacted them in over six months and would now have file claimed against me with the irs. I am disabled I don't think this is very funny. I don't make enough money to file a tax return. Ignore these people!

Received a call today saying that they had been trying to get a hold of me for the last 6 months and if I did not respond they would file an intentional fraud case against me with the US government. Thank you all for your posts on this! Very helpful in this crazy time we live in!

Automated message claiming irs tax fraud and active arrest warrant . When i called back it was a woman with Indian accent , very pushy demanding I go to a federal facility to make payment. The facility named was a Walgreens. That is when I hung up. This is NOT the IRS . Do not do anything they say, it is a scam. I reported to the Federal trade commission and treasury inspector general . Spread the word.
