Caller began conversation stating that my company's name came up in their data base as being used on a reference for a credit check. He then said, "I didn't catch your name". I rattled off a fake name as he began to stumble around and tell me he was part of a network of 350 attornies ...and "their services...blah, blah"..I laughed because I "my company" is in startup mode and there would not be any references to be used (I didn't tell him that) and hung up.
