Told me it was the irs and I'm going to jail, when I called back the man could not even speak English

Automated message about serious charges against me with local police -- call originating in Glen Falls, NY. Did not use my name, nor the name of a specific person with Glen Falls PD in charge of alleged case.

I keep getting these spam calls at least 2-3 times a week. And I’m in the do not call list. How do they get away with this ?

SAID I had 4 charges against me and they would bring charges to me if I didn't return their call. It's a landline! Why are they still operating with these complaints?

Same as what everyone else has said - essentially a scam, but threatening enough I believe it rises to the level of harassment. Robocall that says you'll be arrested by local LE (doesn't even name who "local" LE is) if you don't get in touch with them.

Called and told there were charges against me and to give the number a call back. They try to use scare tactics as well, as the police will take me into custody and there are serious charges filed against me.

Same as many of the other, have called two times a day on multiple days and left the same canned message. I won't call back so they can't confirm number.

“Four serious charges against you” message. Called back and said “I need you to remove my number”, guy said “no” and then hung up. Tried a couple more times and they kept hanging up on me.

Same as above. Income tax scam and threatening local law enforcement for four serious charges. Several calls.

Same as above. I hung up on them and they called back 4 times from four different numbers. They claimed it had to do with federal income tax. When they called back they demanded to know why I hung up on them.

Same as many others. Claimed to be the IRS stating I had charges pending against me. When I asked how I know if they are really the IRS she got defensive so I asked again and she hung up.

The VM said calling from Headquarters that “........ expires 24 working hours and the local police will take me to custody and I have to call them back. This is a SCAM and Harassment.

Recorded message. No identification as to who is calling, no greeting with any name so that they can send the same message to everybody. I have 4 suits filed against me and I need to call them back right away to discuss this. I agree with everybody that I think this is totally illegal.
