Who called from the number +1 (518) 615-7994

Says there are four serious allegations pressed on my name...Total scam.

IRS scammer, don't call back.

Robo call saying I would be put under arrest/taken into customer if I didnt reply within 24 hrs.

This is a scam call, threatening to call back to them within 24 hours. Ignored and blocked.

IRS scam. Said that I will be taken under custody if I didn't call back within 24hrs to resolve issue with my taxes.

Thanks to above messages confirmed total scam: start of message was cut off, then: "... so that we can discuss this case before we take legal action against you..."

Just got this phone call, left me a message, but didn't wait for tone, just automated saying that there were 4 serious our serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you the number to reach us is 518-615-7993 I repeat 518-615-7993 thank you…” jerks....total scam...I work somewhere where we do takes for Seniors, the IRS will NEVER call you!!!!

Wish we could do something about these scams.

Don't even answer the phone.

Scam but they have some folks personal info., hope someone investigates / shuts this down.

Total scam, do not respond

Said they found 4 issues with IRS filing. Instructed to call within 24 hrs to avoid being arrested. IRS won't contact by phone, only by mail. NICE TRY LOSERS!!

SCAM! Voice mail says to call number. I called. They claim to be giving a "last chance" to pay on audited back taxes of $9742. Threatened arrest if this amount is not paid today. Stated that the IRS sent two certified letters in February. I hung up on the jerk. - First off, the IRS never calls you. They also do not send "certified letters" as a first attempt to reach you about a discrepancy. I called my CPA and he laughed about this.

Why do people do this.... this is so sad.... I dont get it I called back until they started to hang up on me. I told them that what they were doing was not right and just mean.

Apparently I am going to be picked up by “my local police department within the next 24 hours” bc of serious allegations made against me by the IRS. It’s a SCAM, people, do NOT respond, or you can give them a difficult enough time that they hang up on you.

Most of the others already described my experience. It is a scam. Do not answer or return calls to numbers you do not recognize.

They hung up on me when I informed them that my husband is the Sheriff in our county. This is a complete scam.

I received a call from this number and they left a voicemail saying "there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you could get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you". my heart jumped but before I called I did some research and low and behold this is indeed a SCAM! UGH. Thanks to everyone for posting this here!

They just called and said they had serious allegations and if I did not call back they would arrest me.
