Who called from the number +1 (514) 405-5582

I received a message on my answering service telling to call back the following number 1 514 405 5582 or I would be arrested. When I called back, they told me they were from the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) investigation division and that there was a warrant for my arrest because of tax fraud. They acted surprised that I had never been contacted before. Phone hung up. I called back but had trouble being connected. When I finally got through, the girl told me she would tell me why there was a warrant for my arrest but she only ended up telling me how much I owed the government (2849,00 $). She proceeded to tell me that I had to pay that amount immediately by following her directions for payment, but once I paid it, someone from the government would come to help me straighten it out. When I told her I did not think that the government would proceed that way, making me pay before sending someone to help me figure out what the problem was or not send me a warning of some kind that I owed money before threatening me with 5 years in prison, 35 000$ in fine and seizure of all my assets for ten years. She had told me she would have to report me to the courthouse (the sheriff) and I would be arrested so I asked her what courthouse she would contact. She obviously was surprised by the question and after stumbling on her words a bit said the local one. Then I asked her what was the address of the office at which she worked and she said : 9700 Jasper Avenue. I added : Montreal ? She said : No Cuba… I'm sorry Edmonton. I said : Thank you but I believe you just said Cuba. Nicole Parker, badge number 105392, will definitely not be working for the CRA for very long. I called the police station and the officer told me I did not have to report it to them. I tried calling the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and got a message to report it online. I didn't because online they are asking me to use my online banking number and password. How weird is that ?

This is a scam. They tell you a warrant has been issued for your arrest and unless you pay amount you owe (just under $3000 to CRA you will get arrested. CRA NEVER CALLS YOU. They send you registered mail. Do not answer, do not fall into this. Report this number. So upsetting that there are people like this out there trying to scam honest hardworking people.
