SCAM - Fraud - block the number!

Supposedly TD Bank trying to sell me a service. Didn't sound like an actual person. Offered me a free trial, had to deny multiple times. Sounds like some sort of scam.

This number called me 4 times. My cell scanned it as a potential fraud. The first time they called was at 9:00 pm. Called the number back and it was an automated voicemail claiming to be TD and requesting that I enter my phone number where they originally called me (which obviously I didn't). I called TD Bank directly through their webpage number and they confirmed that this is not one of their phone numbers and if they did call it would be a 1-800 number. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Do not fall for it.

They spoke French, this is why I let my guard down. Usually scammers use English and I can filter them easily. They got my home address out of it, ugh, I backed off when they asked for my birth date. TD knows your address and birth date, they would not ask for it on the phone! Just called TD to report this.

Got the call today. The make you believe the are from TD and want to sell you some credit card service. The also want you to spell your name letter by letter.

Received 2 calls today from this number and they did not leave a message. I did not call back. Most likely SCAM and / or telemarketing.

Got a call today from this number saying they were with TD credit cards. I hung up right away and block them. scammers.

Ils parlaient français, c'est pourquoi j'ai baissé ma garde. En général, les arnaqueurs utilisent l'anglais ou un français boiteux. Ils ont obtenu mon adresse personnelle quand ils m'ont demandé ma date de naissance j'ai refusé. J'ai téléphoné TD pour signaler le tout.

Called us 8 times in a row, claiming sense or urgency with our TD credit card being overspent etc ... we don't have a TD credit card ... nice try tho

Someone phone trying to get credit information for a TD Credit card, this is a scam, do not provide any information.

Une femme vient de m’appeler pour me vendre une protection “anti-vol d’identité” avec la banque TD. Plusieurs fois j’ai tenté lui dire que je refusais son offre (pour ne pas être rude en lui raccrochant la ligne au nez) mais elle me coupait toujours la parole. Elle ne me laissait pas m’exprimer mais me demandait mes informations comme si de rien était. Totalement inapproprié, don’t trust this number.

Personne au bout du fil et il raccroche après une dizaine de secondes.

Called my bank and they confirmed this is a scam. If you receive a call from this number, contact your bank and they will put an alert on your account to watch for suspicious activity. I was also advised to call Equifax and let them know so they will block any unauthorized attempts to open account, apply for credit, etc. Hope this helps some of you!
