Leaving messages for someone who is not me. Messages becoming increasingly threatening sounding - threats of contacting my HR dept, etc. Returned call to ask name of business and other details. Answered phone “Business Office.” Said “Mutual Recovery” when I asked business name and that they were a mediation company when I pressed for details. I asked if there was an attorney associated with the business. They refused to answer that question. Began to press me for personal information details. I did not wish to give them my phone number or other details without knowing whether they were a legitimate business. They hung up. Based on my interaction with them and reviews I’ve seen for other phone numbers with these details, I believe this to be a scam, or at best an EXTREMELY non-compliant collection agency.
