I got the same wierd recording giving a name saying IRS officer.. DON'T call it back... It's a scam. IRS never calls they will just mail so don't fall for anything!!

Said they were an officer of the IRS .. and there was a legal case against me and that I need to call a number back ASAP

Said they were calling from the IRS and that they had a legal petition notice concerning a tax fraud against me. I don't believe that the IRS makes these kinds of calls and that they normally notify individuals through the mail only. This has SCAM written all over it!
