Who called from the number +1 (508) 217-4413

Had a call from this number stating they were calling about my Medicare and qualified to receive some joint braces wanting to confirm all my information. When they asked to confirm my SS number I told them I don't give that out over the phone PERIOD! I then asked them to confirm it with me as they stated they already had it. As the call originated asking for two other people before getting to my name on there list I was already suspicious. They could only provide me with name, age, and address, all of which are public information and found on the internet! I asked for the "physical" address were she was calling from and was told Fairfax, VA. I again asked for the "Address" and she refused but offered to give me "her" Social Security number. WTF! After 5 to 10 minutes of back and fourth I asked to speak to a Supervisor. Another woman answered with the same foreign accent and still the background noise of a typical calling center from India etc... This lady gave me the same line and when I asked her for my SS number to verify who they were she said one part starts with 1 and another 0. Which is NOT correct. She then stated they were calling because I was to receive a new Medicare Card without the SS number on it. So ok I will wait for it to show up, thank you for letting me know. Then I got the line "But sir you are eligible for joint braces that we show your Dr had requested and you have not received. What!? That may have been 20 or 30 years ago! "So you don't need braces?" No mam I don't! Then a pleasant / appropriate response and a "have a good day", end of call. I don't think we provide citizen SS numbers to foreign call centers! I would never believe that and I would NEVER give ANYONE my Social Security number over the phone for ANY reason, PERIOD! Neither should you!
