Call claiming to work for united states treasury. Saying you owe back taxes and a warrant has been sent out . Scammmmmm

try to say that you have a warrant out for your arrest for owing back taxes they are scammers

Federal criminal complaint scam.

Automated call from female threatening that if I don't call back immediately I will be arrested for criminal offense (I didn't understand what). At end of call she ominously says "Good luck."

Scam! Sounds scary but no one calls you like that and harasses you. Called me last year too. It’s so irritating.

Automated female call. states a case number and threatens of a federal criminal offense, doesn't even say what crime, very scary.....do not respond, its a scam!! Hope someone gets them

"Informed" me that a federal warrant is out for my arrest for back taxes. Complete and total scam - don't bother picking up and block this number.

They called and left voice message saying it was my last chance before being arrested if I did not call back. Ended with "Good Luck." Obvious Scam

Same complaint as many have indicated. Today, I just received a call from : Automated female. States a case number and threatens federal criminal offense, doesn't even say what crime. ***** Do not respond, its a scam!!!!!*

Left me a voicemail telling me that I am in trouble for an unnamed criminal offense and threatened that I must call back with my attorney present. Wished me good luck too, so there's that.

Automated woman's voice threatening legal action for crimes. Part of the message at the beginning was cut off; but I have received these calls before claiming to be from the IRS. The IRS DOES NOT call directly unless you have an open case with them and you have spoken with them before. Nor, would you get a robotic male/female voice leaving you a message such as this. This is a total scam. I have been receiving calls like this as far back as 2015. Unfortunately, there are people out there that are allowing themselves to fall for this; or they wouldn't still be doing it. In addition, although the call back numbers and caller I.D.'s indicate they are in the United States, these calls are being generated from overseas.

I'm going to jail for a LONG TIME

Received the call...obviously it’s a scam...I returned the call and a man with an Indian accent said I owed money to the IRS...So I said that was taken care of years ago, he asked how much and I made up a bunch of things and he said officers were on their way to pick me up...and if I had anymore questions. I asked for a good recipe for Tandoori Chicken and Spicy Samosas. At that time he asked me if I knew what I had to do now, I asked what as I don’t want to get into anymore trouble..he said I need to remove all of my clothes. I then made him aware that my socks were off and then .....the fun stopped as he hung up. PEOPLE....Please don’t fall victim to this scam...
