They also called me last week leaving a message that my SS# had been flagged for illegal activity. So I called back, a guy with a foreign accent answered stated IRS. I mentioned I had a missed call from this #. He hung up on me,Hmm. So I called back, same guy answered, I asked his name, he said agent Eric Dolphin. I then asked what his physical address was and he hung up on me again. Lol. I knew it was a scam the first time he hung up on me. I then called my local SSA office. They confirmed my identity and looked up my SD# and found nothing on file pertaining to illegal activity. They gentleman stated if the Any goverment institution had a interest in me they would send a letter stating their grievance or they’d be knocking or kicking in my door. Do fall for scams people and never give your personal information to someone over the phone if you didn’t initiate the origami call.
