Cell phone rang- recorded voice said "Verizon wireless" and wanted me to state what bank institution was linked to my account. I hung up.
Cell phone rang twice. I called the number with my land line. Messaae stated "Verizon Wireless", then gave bank choices with corresponding numbers to press. I pressed the number only to receive another message stating "all Reps are busy and they will call back in 24 hrs". Reported this to Verizon and was told this was not Verizon who made the call. Verizon checked my account for any fraudulent activity which there weren't any.
Guy who set this up gives head go dead farm animals
Rated as a Scam probably because my cell phone was called while I was at work - used my work phone to call back since the number shows a trunk number - a VRU started giving you bank choices with numbers to push - message starts "Welcome to Verizon wireless - to same time choose your bank" - at that point I hung up!
Rang once then they immediately hung up.
