This may be a number you have given to Yahoo, either as part of the 2-step verification login process or as account info when you signed up for a yahoo account. If you have no account with yahoo, it's possible someone tried to use your landline/mobile account hoping to gain access to your financial login password or someone mistakenly gave yahoo your number as part of their account info/2-step verification login process. If you have ever used this account to bank or purchase items online, I recommed you alert your bank immediately that you may have had an attempt to hack your account. They will flag the account and, depending on their protocol in such situations, may change your info and supply you with a new account number/debit or credit card, cutting off access to the account using your current information. That's the worst case scenario. Best is they tell you your last transactions were your last transactions and they issue you a new account/card to be safe. Most banks alert customers if you use a card for the first time in a strange way (you use it in a remote town in a developing country for the first time or you make/try to make a charge for an amount over a certain amount. If charges happen within minutes of each other on different sides of the globe, your bank may contact you or restrict access until you contact them. This is to protect you and the bank from loss of money, should your banking info be sold over to those with less than ethical reasons to be using your banking info.

Change your passwords to any yahoo account and any financial institution you use online banking for immediately. Could be nothing to worry about, but if the info given by others here is correct, someone may be trying to gain access to any of those accounts by changing your password.
