Threat to file lawsuit, issue arrest warrant. The IRS does not contact anyone by phone, certainly not a cell phone in Oklahoma.

This number called me and I did not answer so they left a voicemail. I googled the number and saw this was a scam. The message stated that I needed to call them back regarding the IRS and government investigating me for fraud. It said they had tried to contact me for 6 months and since I had not responded a lawsuit had been filed against me. After reading all the reports I decided what the hell im going to call them back and play along with their little scam. After on hold for two minutes a guy who barely spoke English asked me for my personal information. I told him that since he worked for the IRS and government and they had called me then they should have all that information in front of them. He again asked me for my personal information to verify they were speaking to the correct person. I then asked him for his name and information and informed him that the call was being recorded for legal purposes. He hung up!! Total scam people!!!

Have gotten two calls from them on my cell phone in the last hour stating as above. Halting, broken recorded message. Know IRS or anyone threatening a lawsuit would not contact on a cell phone. Complete scam.. Blocked number.
